Stewart ran successfully in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Utah’s 2nd District. Stewart defeated Jason BuckDave ClarkCherilyn EagarHoward WallackChuck WilliamsJohn WilloughbyMilton HanksEdward MayerhoferJeramey McElhaney and Bob Fuehr in the Republican convention. He then won in the general election on November 6, 2012.
